The blogging highlights are by far the emails and the comments. I got an email from a 17 year old Sarah who has started her own fashion brand called Sarah Leora. 17 year old fashion designer, how cool is that! (Can also be found on Facebook)

The fashion industry is perhaps the hardest industry that exists and certainly the hardest to gain entrance. So how do brilliant beginners gain access into the competitive world of fashion? There are no set rules or handbook for assistance. Maybe there is no conventional way but SARAH LEORA SILVERMAN certainly tries to show her stuff. With her creative sketches, colorings, swathes of fabric, pages of clothing description, books with fashion advice, hundreds of fashion magazines from across the world, tabs open all over her computer for inspiration, collage of fashion posters plastering her wall, facebook page, and a workshop in the basement, Sarah is trying her best.

My favorite piece from the website is this velvet cut out dress. The black dress in second photo is also extremely cool! Will be interesting to follow the brand and see new designs.
