I would like to see more colors. Marimekko is after all known for their colorful prints, so where's the bright yellow, where's the lemon green, where's the lagoon blue, where's the cherry red..? And question number one, where are the grown up shoes? Because those to me look like shoes I see on teenagers, I would not buy any of those seen in the video - I don't feel the leopard thing, neither do I feel the black & white pyramid look. They are too artsy and I believe that in sneakers, less is sort of more. With a small twist. The retro Marimekko look with stripes etc would be way more interesting, maybe there's more to come?

The blogging highlights are by far the emails and the comments. I got an email from a 17 year old Sarah who has started her own fashion brand called Sarah Leora. 17 year old fashion designer, how cool is that! (Can also be found on Facebook)

The fashion industry is perhaps the hardest industry that exists and certainly the hardest to gain entrance. So how do brilliant beginners gain access into the competitive world of fashion? There are no set rules or handbook for assistance. Maybe there is no conventional way but SARAH LEORA SILVERMAN certainly tries to show her stuff. With her creative sketches, colorings, swathes of fabric, pages of clothing description, books with fashion advice, hundreds of fashion magazines from across the world, tabs open all over her computer for inspiration, collage of fashion posters plastering her wall, facebook page, and a workshop in the basement, Sarah is trying her best.

My favorite piece from the website is this velvet cut out dress. The black dress in second photo is also extremely cool! Will be interesting to follow the brand and see new designs.

There was an ice track day last weekend and I learned that you're not supposed to attend these happenings without a GoPro HD Motorsports Hero. The mobile phone camera is useless for picture quality, the sounds are alright, but the picture.. come on.. I want the GoPro!

I have a lot of cars on my current wishlist.. from this 317hp Subaru Impreza Type R to a 600+ hp 1996 Mitsubishi Evo 4.. oh and of course the Ferrari 458 Italia, Porsche GT 2 RS, Lamborghini Superleggera LP570-4.. the list is obviously very long, but I try to keep my dreams fairly realistic, so Imprezas and Evos are buyable - you get a nice car for less than 20.000 euros.. fair deal.

But by far my number one craving of the moment is a 452hp Subaru Impreza GT. You should have HEARD it on the track day, there are thousands of small noisy squirrels inside it and it's a LOVELY SOUND. And for those who don't know how the world's best squirrels sound..

After every winter there's a summer. And I need a few new bikinis. Some weeks ago I wrote about Mikoh Swimwear but sadly some of my favorite pieces from the site are sold out in my size and also it's not a cheap brand. On Shopbop I found a nice bikini from CALi DREAMiNG, but not convinced it's worth the price of $154. It's gorgeous though.

Next I started to browse the site of Australian swimwear brand Seventh Wonderland and ahh, found three diamonds there. The Amour Knot Bandeau Bikini in aqua and Estelle Knot Bandeau Bikini in purple cost AUD 205 each, so no, won't buy them for that price but I'll try to find something similar. Also I really do not get it why their smallest size is EU 36 (UK 8, US 4), EU 34 could be a good idea as well?

Greece in April - Corfu and Athens

We're going to Greece in April as a bunch of 6 persons for approx. 1 week. 4 nights will be in the Villa Piedra, Corfu. The last 2-3 nights will be in Athens. Have you been to Athens? What are the must see's and do's, where's the best (budget friendly) shopping, anyone have some nice hotel recommendations..? This will be my first time in Athens, so all tips are appreciated! In Corfu we will rent a car, but I suppose that in Athens you don't even need one as it's such a big city and easy to get around anyway? Are there any cool places nearby Athens that absolutely should be visited?

The Villa Piedra in Corfu looks by the way beyond anything I've ever stayed at and once I get a taste of it, I don't know if I'll return. Outdoor jacuzzi overflowing into the pool, outdoor dining table and barbeque, 3 bedrooms, fireplace, Dolby surround-sound system both indoors and outdoors.. during the day you can hang around the pool and enjoy good barbeque food, at night you can have a beer and look at the stars with the telescope. The bathroom and kitchen are pretty much the only rooms that don't have a LCD TV, but I don't know if I'll even turn one on during my stay - who would want to watch TV when you see the sea and the stars from the pool?! Can it be April already?

I had NEVER heard of or seen wood sunglasses before I found Proof Eyewear. That doesn't mean they don't exist elsewhere, only that I've missed out on something very very cool. I absolutely love the idea of wood sunglasses, might not yet be a huge trend but I'm convinced that once people find out that you don't have to buy only plastic anymore, these will be a hit.

Then that's it's an eco friendly company as well: I can't complain. Honestly I would love them even if they weren't because I'm not a person who only support eco companies - after all I love cars that are not environment friendly at all, "Fight the global warming, buy a V8" - but it's always a plus of course. Early 2011 highlight would be when the FINNSURF documentary by Pablo Films will be released. Watch the trailer and you know what I mean. I first saw this trailer at the Euro Gap World Premiere in November, and since then I've stalked their website to see when and where the full version can be found. Not yet, but lets hype the trailer in the meanwhile. I'd love to go surfing to Bali, Morocco, Costa Rica, Australia.. you name it. After this I'm willing to give it a try in Finland as well - fucking cold man, yes, but just the fact you're even able to do it here makes it interesting enough!

The perfect snowboard outfit

I just happened to find my dream snowboarding outfit yesterday (basically I stopped browsing for Zara shoes on Ebay and tried some different search keywords for a change!). It's actually surprisingly hard to find jackets you like, the pants I don't care about too much, but the jacket has to fit my taste. So nothing psychedelic, would prefer no checked pattern either, and plain white is hard to keep clean. Also it's nice to wear bright colors and not just brown, black or white.

THIS WAS IT! The perfect color and the flattering fit that hopefully does look as good on me as it looks on that Asian model. Team that up with a brand new APO Isis board and there's hope left for me and my snowboarding future. I might have said this before but I say it again: I'm not the easiest to teach or snowboard with because I get so fcking pissed off almost everytime ("You can't have any successes unless you can accept failure." , "There is no failure except in no longer trying.", "Life doesn't require that we be the best, only that we try our best.", ... and so on).. and when the day comes and I happen to find someone perfect to teach me some tricks, I promise to buy that person some really really good whiskey once we're finished! A bottle. At least. We can drink while snowboarding too, that might make the day a lot easier.

Gowns are not something I often look at, basically because they are a piece of garment you do not get to use very often. On Twitter I discovered a brand called Mikoh Swimwear. I'm going nuts about their designs. Below are my four favorites from the site, and especially the Xavier onepiece in third picture is breathtaking. What I like the most is that the hot model is small chested and those pieces still look great on her! Usually bandeaus aren't very flattering on us that don't have a lot to show off, but Mikoh now restored my faith in those pieces. Wow wow.

Zuzana Serbak - carbon fiber heels

Inspired by the amazing carbon fiber built cars out there, I once did a google search for carbon fiber heels. Which car girl would not love to own an amazing pair of heels that actually have a heel made from carbon fiber? I would! I didn't find many so this idea is still fresh in the industry, but one stood out. This shoe is one I'd take to my shoe collection anytime, though I'm afraid it's not a cheap pair - not even sure if you can buy them somewhere online or in store, or if you need to order them from the designer herself. Anyway, amazing design!

Now there's a super cool contest up on a site that I just have to shout out about. Tailsweep is an advertising network for bloggers, and SEB is a Swedish bank. Together they are offering one person a chance to win an advertising campaign worth 100.000 SEK that will be displayed on some of the most popular blogs in Sweden. And when we talk Swedish blogs, popular is really popular. Sweden seem way ahead many other countries when it comes to blog advertising, and some girls there have made millions from their blogs. Of course in many cases just the blog is not enough, you have to promote yourself through other channels as well - from radio to TV to magazines - if you want to make it to the top, but their careers started with just one simple blog. They then gave me an account type that was more suitable for my business, but basically they did nothing before I complained. So that's the point, there's really not a bank in Finland that would have a genuine interest for small business owners that are just starting out and want to keep their costs to the minimum. So if you're a Swedish entrepreneur, yes the "Enkla Firman" seems like a good deal and you get the whole year of 2011 for no cost at all, so go for it. And if you want to open your own business, go for it, don't ever hesitate. You can always shut it down if it doesn't work out, but everyone that has that small idea in the back of their head should always at least try. You never know how successful you might become, even an idea that might feel stupid could be a hit!

The Cove & Save Japan Dolphins

I watched the documentary movie The Cove yesterday. I had heard about it but for some reason I had never seen it before yesterday - a shame. Anyway, it was painful to watch. Really painful, didn't expect it to be that raw and there were scenes that just made me hold my breath so I would not cry or throw up. Watch this video (sorry, can't embed it) at 1:42 and you get my point - I've never felt so distressed as I did during this movie.

The good thing though is that few people can just watch and forget about it. It would be stupid to think that one name in a petition can't make a difference, the more the merrier. I wish I COULD do more, but it's at least something.

If I saw this pattern hanging in the store, I'm not sure if I would even bother to have a closer look at the garment. But when I see these photos and how good they look on the model, I'd be ready to buy these pieces even without trying them on, as they look STUNNING. The prices are less stunning, but we can still hype the nice work that Anna & Boy did. I also fancy their lovely paper bag dress for AUD 475.. actually they do not have a lot on their site I would not fancy, suddenly I like pretty much anything as long as it's Anna & Boy! Australia may not deliver the supercars to us, but they surely deliver the best fashion that can be found on this planet.

I dislike the Zara online shop. Just for one simple reason: they do not ship to Finland. But I admit that I do browse their shoes every now and then.. and now it was a bad idea, because my Zara collection that currently has 11 pairs has to grow at some point. Those boots are amazing! I also love the red platforms, but I'm not an enormous fan of peep-toes, and would rather take those just as simple pumps.

Liquid eyeliner

I feel like a teenager again - I just loaned my mum's liquid eyeliner and it was so much fun! Why haven't I owned one in like.. 5 years? More? A comeback! I'm gonna buy one ASAP: from now on, I'd like to have panda lines around my eyes every day. Actually I'd like to wake up with them in the morning. Amen.

And yes it's fun to realize that your eyes are still beautiful when you put on some makeup, as I've watched myself crying for the past few weeks and mentally I'd be done with that for now, emotionally there's probably more to come. But luckily, eyeliner can always be applied on again if you happen to wash away it with saltwater. Or even better, I could buy a waterproof one.

Canadian sports car.. how often do you hear those three words together? Right.. but I like it! Design wise it doesn't really bring anything new to the sports car industry, but I especially like the side profile. The engine is a V8 6.2L powered 750 hp, or you could choose to order the second option, an engine producing 1300 hp. Weight only 1,089 kg so you realize how quick that car could potentially be.. yes, really quick.. can't wait to see some mad Youtube videos with a drifting Pléthore and smoking tires, where are they?!

Must share a great christmas gift idea with you. If you know someone who loves the nature, then the Planet Earth DVD or Blu-ray is a must have in their home. I've only seen a few episodes so far but I'm overwhelmed by the quality and most of all, by all the amazing things that can be found on our planet. On Ebay you get the DVD for around £15 so doesn't cost a lot either. And it's amazing to watch!

So basically cashmere is goat wool, fine in texture but extremely warm. The items in ”Cashmere Shop” are made by locals in Biella, a town in Italy. I knew that cashmere is an expensive material, but it seems like a material that will last and is of good quality, so I can't see why it wouldn't be worth the price.

A thing I appreciate with their items is that the colours of the blankets are 100% natural. They do not contain synthetic or bleached dyes, which is always a plus.

I got in the home decor mood while browsing their site, and my favorite item is from their section ”Throws plaids and cushions”. I do adore the knitted blankets they have on their site. 25% cashmere and 75% merino wool, price £187 and I find it hard to believe that you would actually find same quality for a smaller price. I'm not sure if I personally would buy so expensive things for my home, but I would be happy to receive them as gifts and I think this is often the case: you do not necessary buy these things to yourself, you buy them as gifts.

Another item I love is the winter tartan blanket. Also 25% cashmere and 75% merino wool, price from £246. The tartan plaid throw come in one size and is £161, I like the fringes.

Now the shop of course offer a lot more than the items I showed you – bed blankets, pillows, cashmere slippers, cashmere scarves.. cashmere, alpaca, camel-hair.. worldwide delivery of course.

We're driving fast, if an animal runs out on the road we're screwed, and if something happens we'll hit a tree for sure. I didn't feel any kind of fear at all because I enjoyed what we were doing. I knew that there were a lot of risks involved in that action, but I sort of thought that if this is the way death is going to take me, then at least I died doing something I loved.

I could almost say that was the first time in my life I have felt that sort of passion for something. I had found a thing that I love so much in life that it doesn't even bother me that it's a risky game I'm playing. As Ayrton Senna said, you can understand the risks and enjoy it, or you can drop it. But you can't drop a real passion.

Yesterday we visited Tommi Mäkinen Racing in Jyväskylä and got to see their workshop, that by the way is pretty much as clean as a hospital.. not joking! When they get the new Subarus from Japan, they "undress" them into naked bodies and replace standard parts with rally suitable stuff, so their warehouse is a candystore for persons looking for brand new and used parts from new WRX STI's. I don't put a lot of money on hair care, ever since TRESemmé came on the market that is pretty much the only brand I've used. Now I'm however dark brunette again and got home some Schwarzkopf products from the saloon. Nothing wrong with Tresemme, but this is really some hair luxury. The line is called Schwarzkopf Seah Hairspa and my products go under the name "Rose", intended for frizzy hair. I have the shampoo, the conditioner and the cream mask. They smell great and they leave your hair so soft and smooth! Around £10-13 / 200ml bottle, but well worth it if you want some luxury for your hair!

Never have I seen this huge wedges before! When the Ashish for Topshop wedges came out I already thought they were quite chunky and looked heavy.. but now the Swedish brand Acne took it one step further with mega chunky wedges. It would be interesting to try them on, they look like they could be hard to walk in because of the massive heel and platform, but then again people would not buy them if they were uncomfortable so lets suppose they aren't. I once thought that wedges are really difficult to pair with outfits, but now you even see girls rocking chunky wedges with party dresses on streetstyle sites (odd combination if you ask me, but it works!). So I suppose if you pair it right you could wear almost anything!

First three pairs in the photo are from Acne. Expensive, yes, but I consider those so unique that if you really want one pair, you'll pay for them. A shoe lover knows another shoe lover: when you find that something, it's hard to resist it.

If you're a car lover, then the 2009 documentary "Love the Beast" by Eric Bana is a must see. I almost cried when I watched it but don't worry, I cry a little too easily: also when cars die. The Toyota comment by Jeremy Clarkson, that quote was the best in a while. I also discovered my dream career, so Jay Leno, if you're ever looking for a tender person to wax your cars, I'm the right girl for that job.

The season for summery floral dresses might be over in Finland, but the lucky Aussies have their summer now. So when the European stores have winter clothing in stock, the Australian shops are starting to sell their summer collections right now. Which is sort of bad, because I'm not necessary in the mood to shop for summer clothing now but then again there's the possibility that some items run out of stock and that would be harmful. Been there. It's always nice to find the bright side of everything, so hint, the Aussies winter stock are of course on sale now.

Just browsed around The Grand Social site and found two amazingly hot maxi dresses.. and I never thought I'd get this excited about MAXI dresses that cover your legs and even shoes, but wow, these two are really something.

The first is from Anna & Boy, "Paper bag dress in persia", price AUD $480. The second is from my favorite Bec & Bridge, "Sandscape wrap maxi" and AUD $455. Most I likely these two will only stay in my dreams and not find their way into my closet, but hopefully I could find something similar in future for a smaller price.

I heard about the French artist Yult Koldmane thanks to the kiteboarding movie "F.One - Manera Waterman Experience". Overwhelmed by a scene in the movie and the music on the background I began my journey to find out who's the artist for that track. Information found on the website and an email to the artist himself confirmed it: it was Yult Koldmane who was the man behind the sounds I hype starting at 15:21 in the movie. And don't even ask how many times I've scrolled back to 15:21 just to hear it over and over again: way too many, yet I'm not finished though.

When I started to look into his music, I discovered the style is quite similar to some great bands I listen to - you get same kind of vibes as you get when you listen to Portishead, Massive Attack, Zero 7, Thievery Corporation.. a few to mention. Tanya Auclair in "Inland Empire" sound awesome: great female voices are always enjoyable.

A sculptor's tribute to Gille Villeneuve, who died in a 140mph (225 km/h) crash during qualifying for the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix at Zolder. The accident came less than two weeks after an intense argument with his team-mate, Didier Pironi, over Pironi's move to pass Villeneuve at the preceding San Marino Grand Prix. At the time of his death, Villeneuve was extremely popular with fans and has since become an iconic figure in the history of the sport. Hoyt describes this piece as Gille's passage from this life to the next.

Gracie at The Flip Side of Oz sent me this stunning handbag from Christian Siriano's collection for Payless (thank you!). It's HUGE! I had to do a small test: I get like 4 pairs of high heel ankle boots inside it. If you ever need to take 4 pairs with you somewhere, this is the bag for it. But seriously you can't even imagine how much stuff you get inside it, it's almost ridiculous because you feel you want to fill it up but it's quite impossible as there's always room for more!

I'm not a bag addict and if I have to choose, I usually rather spend my money on shoes. With that said, I do not own a lot of handbags, so this gift arrived to the right address. And now I'm starting to get the point with bags! After all they are usually around 20% of your outfit!

Kandee is an interesting brand.. they seem to do a lot of their brand marketing on Twitter, and you know what, it's working! 1,083 followers can't be wrong. The travel agency Solresor is looking for a travel blogger for one week. Sounds good, I've just started my winter depression that will last until April 2011. That's 28 weeks of depression and lack of sun. Solresor could (should) make it 27.

However they wanted the contestants to post their favorite holiday destination from their selection.. and hard to pick just one.. but right now, I'm going to say Costa Rica (and Bali, but they didn't have Indonesia in their list). I've been looking around for surf camps a lot lately -- yes, this is stage one of the depression, to want to get as far as possible from Finland. Stage two comes when you try to figure out who's gonna pay for all the fun, haha. However, Costa Rica caught my attention as their rainy season is May to November and in Bali the rainy season is November to April. So if I go to Bali this winter, I need an umbrella. And I don't want an umbrella holiday.

By the way, if you're planning a surfing trip to Bali you must by the way check out the Padang Padang Surf Camp.. their villa is oh so stunning and the prices might just be worth it if you can hang around in that pool after a hard day at the beach!

Aviator jackets

When I was a teenager I disliked fur collars. There was a time when so many teenage girls wore jackets with the fur collars (and of course we had a word for them too, pissis, haha), and then extremely tight jeans and some horrible shoes. Then at some point the trend almost vanished, but now I see the fur collar trend is back again. This time I'm however older, and the overall designs look a lot better, so hey I might even be able to wear this style again. To see how some fashionistas rock the aviator jackets on streetstyle sites.. yes please, me too!

Here is one of my favorite from the aviator inspired jackets I found online. It's called the Borg Aviator jacket and retails for £65 at awear.com, so pretty good deal. Available in both nude and grey and I actually can't decide which one I like more: I love them both! Imagine this worn with a nice pair of jeans or leather pants, and a pair of neat ankle boots or thigh high boots.. hotness. And these jacket styles go well with party dresses too, can't imagine what you could not wear them with. Two other nice aviators I found were the Double-sided sheepskin trench coat from Zara retailing at £329 (way too much!), and then the Tall aviator style faux sheepskin jacket from Topshop that was more affordable, £78.

Chilloutsuits

Ever heard about the companies Onepiece or Jumpin? They make onepiece jumpsuits, playsuits, chilloutsuits.. a lot of names for one garment. Basically these are overalls that apparently some people are brave enough to wear in public, while most people probably buy these as chillout clothing to wear at home.

But see here comes the worrying part.. I sort of dig them. Sure, jumpsuits / playsuits are available in many shops for both everyday, chill and party purpose, but these look too cozy to be forgotten about! I would almost want to go out with the dog in one if it was a version created for outerwear. Sure, overalls are for kids, but they could be for adults as well if someone came up with a wise and goodlooking design. And after all, who cares what you're wearing when you're taking out the dog?

Both Onepiece and Jumpin carry very similar styles, but with Onepiece having more designs to choose from. Onepiece for example have designs inspired by ladies knitwear (think Lapland!) as you can see in the second picture, and that look is my favorite. Prices are pretty much the same. Now I'm just waiting for them to expand their collections to outerwear as well - I mean real winter outerwear, think snowboard jackets and pants but in one piece.. Onepiece SKI collection.. from that I could even buy something!

One of my most precious memory is a moment in a car, just curving out on the motorway, and the driver asking me if it's okay if he "joyrides". And he joyrode his car, fast. And I enjoyed every minute of it: not only because the car accelerated in a way I had never experienced before, but also because it's so nice to see when someone is loving their car. Although I absolutely love summer and everything related to it, it's not the best season for dressing up. This year we also had a very warm summer in Finland so comfortable and light were the key words. That's why I actually look forward to our autumn, that is sadly not very long in Finland, but you have to enjoy it as long as it's possible. Now I'm into fashion and clothing again, that feeling wasn't very present during the summer when we had at best around 32 °C..

With autumn fashion I'm in love with cool jackets, ladies knitwear, huge sweaters, ankle boots and when it's getting a little colder also the thigh high boots.. you can wear tights with dresses, you can use jeans.. suddenly your closet is much more interesting.

Now when it's time to upgrade the closet with fall items I'm in ecstasy because there are soo many nice sweaters out there in all online shops! Would love to have the skills to do some myself, but not gonna happen, so I'm gonna go shopping instead. The best thing is that you get the knitwear in all kind of styles.. with sequins, cable knit, ripped sweaters, loose knit, with fringe details.. I suddenly love our current 12-16 °C! Lets shop!

One sleeve sequin dress

One sleeve, perfect sequins. Herve Leger. On the price tag high numbers - I don't even want to know how expensive it is. Very expensive.

I could almost say that from all dresses I've looked at in past, this must be the one I love the most. That's a lot said about one dress, but I think this currently is it. That one sleeve works perfectly and is extremely flattering on the model. The sequins don't look cheap, those are sort of real sequins. Sequin dresses have been in fashion for a while now and I'm sure they will stay in fashion forever, and if they come with a small twist then even better. I haven't seen one sleeved versions anywhere else before, but surely you could find something similar from another brands if you start browsing around all shop sites. One almost easier option is to head over to Etsy and the Alchemy there and ask some artist to custom make a similar one for you.

I think those sequins are the hardest part.. square sequins.. are they easy to find? Can't believe I haven't discovered the beauty of them before this day. Compared to the traditional round very shiny sequins this look is a lot more sophisticated, more expensive looking and actually more casual, less party for some odd reason. Beautiful!

I was 15-16 years old when an online friend of mine introduced me to the band and it was pretty much immediate love, I especially love their album Dirt and songs like Rooster, Would?, Angry Chair and Man in the Box.. then again they don't have many songs I dislike, it's a great band, if you haven't heard them then you should listen and see if you like it!

Alice Cooper and Iron Maiden were two other great gigs there, have to admit that those are bands I haven't listened to earlier, only knew some of their most popular hits, but especially Iron Maiden seem to have more in store for me. Have to start checking out their albums.

2 nights in Jyväskylä behind and first ever rally experienced. Earlier I always dreamed of becoming a sports car driver, but after watching my first ever rally race live.. wow. I just have to get inside a rally car, both as a passenger as well as one day be on the driver's seat and drive one.

I don't necessary fancy having a lot of traditions in life just because I dislike to plan years in advance, but this happening in Jyväskylä could very likely become a happening I have to visit every year.

Some cry because they are sad, some out of joy, some out of exhaustment. I don't know what my reason was today, it might be that I'm just overly tired after three 6 AM wake ups this week, but when you watch that video and especially 6:15 forward and you get mad chills and then that dramatic music at 7:36 and you just feel insane happiness for the guys who did that car, what can you do other than shed some tears. Probably it was out of joy, maybe it's just damn nice to see people succeed with their goals.

There are times when I search a lot for something but I'm just unable to find anything similar to the vision I have in my head - embellished knitwear, chained jackets.. I'm not a skilled sewer, I'm actually too lazy to even try (..), so to make clothing from scratch is a world that is still undiscovered. Customize, that is something all of us can do.

On Etsy I started browsing a category I've never ever touched before - "Supplies". There you can find some really nice pieces to attach to your garments just to cheer them up or give them a personal touch. Add something new to them.

Bizim Supplies sell handmade zipper flower appliques in different colors, as well as some other flower appliques. You get two zipper flowers for $10, so that's an inexpensive way to add a small twist to some jacket, sweater, dress..

In the shop of Tailored Chaos I found a lot of peacock tails in silver and gold. Those are stunning, imagine filling up a shoulder of a black jacket with these.. it could look fabulous. 36 pieces for $19,46.

All over fashion blogs we see people adding chains to their jackets and dresses. I see a lot of basic chains, but how about chain styles that are more eyecatching? One nice example I found from Pointy Paws. 21 inch piece, $4,95.

Mary Not Martha is selling neck appliques. Great selection in the shop and this particular is $5,50, so the prices are surely affordable.

What have I been wearing lately? Absolutely nothing interesting and as little as possible. Bikini whenever I can. Just underwear whenever I can. And when I must dress up, the shortest shorts I can find in my closet and yet I haven't been banned from any grocery store. (Don't hate me Volvo owners, I just can't like Swedish cars. Saab is worse however - I know, a cold comfort, but at least something..)

The most popular car inspired laptops on the market are the Acer Ferrari's.. and I get that, because they made their laptops affordable. If you want a Ferrari One, you get it for €650. Yet I might be a little disappointed that there's nothing more about them.. I mean it's Ferrari; I think of leather seats, I think of a black stallion burnt on brown suede.. there's so much potential to create beautiful beautiful laptop designs and they only deliver what you would expect and nothing more – their logo on a laptop cover.

The Lamborghini laptops by Asus are the definition of as boring as something could get. Yellow, bull logo, shiny - fine. Give me something new.

Subaru inspired laptop from Panasonic.. haha, I have no words. Yes it's Subaru blue but what else? It doesn't really offer anything new that other laptop manufacturers don't have, other than the color that might match your car. Yet it's priced at $2,499. Blue is expensive. And honestly, if I'd be the person working for Subaru that approved this laptop, I'd be ashamed. If you give someone the right to use your brand name for marketing purpose, then make sure they deliver something good.

Then we have the Bentley notebook for $20,000 designed by the Dutch designer of luxury notebooks, Ego Lifestyle. Sure, it's like a purse and most women would love it. Very few would/could however actually buy it, because the price is quite insane. Wonder how many they have sold?

It doesn't stop here! You can also buy a Hummer laptop, a Koenigsegg laptop, and a Nissan X-Trail laptop. How wonderful. They are ugly. Again it makes no sense – why do basic? Why not do something extraordinary? Why sell one of the most expensive car brands in the world and then make a plastic looking orange laptop? I do not get it.

Found a site that had some limited edition Ferrari, Bentley and Lamborghini inspired luxury notebooks.. if we talk about those three very expensive car brands, I would rather see them deliver something similar to these - leather covered laptops. Or suede covered. Or something completely new. You get my point, anything but that plastic look. And a laptop covered in e.g. leather should not have to cost you $20,000. Hear me Bentley.

Finally got myself something to start out with. Will it work, maybe not, but I'm hoping to get at least some glossy "mirror effect" finish to the bike. Then if it's doesn't get as perfect as these, fine, I can maybe live with that. The hardest thing is to get started.. you know, the sky is blue outside the window, the bicycle is insanely dirty because I haven't touched it in months, and the toolbox I happen to have in my apartment is way too big.. with way too many tools in it: tools that I don't even know the names of. Perfect.

High waisted jeans

High waisted jeans. Some think they are horrible, some think they are the best invention ever in the jeans industry. They have both their good and bad sides. The good thing is that they hold in your belly and also make your legs look longer if the fit is correct. In the other hand they can make your ass look horrible - that's not good at all. Women do not want a long flat ass.

I've been tempted by the idea to buy a pair, but it's just impossible to buy those online, you have to try them on in store. From 20 pairs you try on, maybe 1 pair looks flattering on your body. I'm a pessimist, I know. And I'm extremely picky, did a Google photo search for high waisted jeans and only found a few photos where the jeans actually look good on the model. Is it really so that very few have the right bodytype for high waisted jeans? And the problem is that it looks like the high waist only works on really skinny girls with tiny waist and slim thighs..

Here are some photos that restored my faith in the high waist. If you happen to find the perfect fit for you, then they can look good. Quite awesome. Wonder how many pairs I need to try on before I find a good pair?

Wakeskate season can begin

Tomorrow I'm heading for our summer place located in the beautiful archipelago of Turku, Parainen. There will be sunshine, there will be beer, there will be boating, there will hopefully be birthday cake because my lovely sister is turning 5 on Thursday, and last, there will be blood. Because I haven't yet bought my own wakeboard, so I have to take the wakeskate Tsimi for a ride. The grip-top is not my favorite and I would almost prefer a foam-top as a wakeskating beginner; if I wanted a sandpaper experience, I would just rub a skateboard all over my body and watch the blood flow. But then again, a good wakeskater would avoid the same amount of physical contact as I have with the wakeskate. I prefer to be strapped to my boards, but no can do this time, you take what you have. I'll put on the gardening gloves to avoid any more damage to my hands, and just go for it. After a few beers.

And when I get back home I'm probably so pissed that I'll order the wakeboard immediately.

Lack of trust

Lets throw in some personal bullshit here, haven't had that in a while.

I seriously must be the definition of the worst girlfriend one can possibly get, because a good relationship is built on trust, and trust is something I haven't felt in a long time.

During my 3 year relationship that ended in February I had a guy with the most sane moral values one could possibly have. He was the type of man that would never cheat, and I really want to say never although ”never say never”, because I'm sure he would not do it to any woman. We spoke about trust countless times and one of the best lessons in life I got from him. When I questioned him and when I believed he will one day hurt me badly, he said to me ”If you doubt, then ask yourself would you do it yourself? If it's something you would not do, then it's probably not something I would do either.”. He said all the right things to build my trust, yet I pretty much kept him as a mental hostage for 3 years because I was so afraid that he would cheat on me.

When we broke up I grew as a person in many ways. I realized that in the end, if I happen to one day find a guy that actually will cheat on me, it's not the end of the world. I could however never forgive it, and I could never continue to live with that man, but it's still not the end of the world. The world is full of men and you just have to hope that you don't catch the bastards. I also realized that it never was the guy's fault. He didn't do anything wrong, he never showed any signs of infidelity, or interest in other women. It was all about me and my own thoughts, my fear of losing one to another woman. My fear of not being good enough - the world is full of amazing women; then why did he choose me? I seriously lived with those thoughts for 3 years and in February I decided I never want a relationship again where I can't trust the guy.

That was five months ago, and now I'm stuck again. Wonder if I'll ever grow up and decide to start trusting in people? Because that's all you can do, just decide that from now on you'll have trust. I don't even think that trust is an emotion, it might become it when you've lived together for a long time and the faith you have in each other is so deep that it becomes an emotion, but in new relationships the keyword is decision.

You can choose to trust, and gain something good, or you can choose not to trust, and lose something good.

Found an inspiring new clothing brand on the Fashion Spot a while ago, a girl was wearing one of their dresses in her outfit picture and she looked stunning.

complexgeometries is a good proof that you don't need that much to make a garment look great - it can be something just as simple as the cut. Not necessary fancy materials, no fancy embellishments, no weird details - just plain fabric in black, white and grey (although I would not say no to a more colorful collection).
